Buy PC parts online in Australia

PC Parts Australia is an online store for people building, upgrading or fixing a computer. The range covers every part inside the tower, from graphics cards and processors to motherboards, RAM, SSDs and hard drives, power supplies, PC cases and CPU coolers. Around it sit the monitors, keyboards, mice and networking gear that finish a setup.

Prices are shown in Australian dollars with GST included, so the price on a product page is what the part costs. Orders ship from our Sydney stock to addresses right across Australia, capital cities and regional towns alike. Every listing carries a stock label: In stock means we hold it now, Available to order means it comes in from the supplier before it ships, and sold out items stay listed so you can check the specs.

Planning a build

Four checks before you buy PC parts

A part that will not fit or will not boot costs you days. These checks catch the mismatches that come up most often on a new build or an upgrade.

  1. 1

Match the CPU to the board

The processor decides the motherboard. AMD Ryzen 7000, 8000 and 9000 chips sit in AM5 motherboards, while Intel Core Ultra 200S chips need an LGA1851 board. Confirm the board lists your exact CPU, and whether it needs a BIOS update before that chip will boot.

  2. 2

Buy the memory the board takes

AM5 and LGA1851 boards run DDR5 memory. AM4 boards use DDR4, and LGA1700 boards were made in both types, so read the spec sheet. For a gaming PC in 2026, 32 GB as a two-stick kit is a good target, and 16 GB still suits lighter games.

  3. 3

Size the graphics card to your screen

Choose the card for the monitor it will drive. At 1080p the RTX 5060 and RX 9060 XT class is the usual pick. For 1440p at high refresh, look at the RTX 5070 and RX 9070 XT tier, and 4K suits an RTX 5080 or above. Then check the card length against your case.

  4. 4

    Leave headroom on power

Start from the wattage the GPU maker recommends and treat it as the minimum. Pick a power supply with room above your total draw so it runs cool and quiet. Most GeForce RTX 50 series cards use the 12V-2x6 connector, so check the PSU has a native cable for it.

PC parts questions, answered

Are your prices in Australian dollars and do they include GST?

Yes. Every price on the site is in Australian dollars and includes GST. Delivery is calculated separately and shown at checkout before you pay.

Where do you ship from, and do you deliver to regional Australia?

Stocked parts are dispatched from Sydney. We deliver to addresses across Australia, including regional and rural areas. The delivery options and cost for your address appear at checkout.

What does Available to order mean?

The part is not on our shelf yet but can be ordered in from the supplier. It ships once it arrives with us, so allow extra time. Items marked In stock are held now and ship first.

How do I know a graphics card will fit my case?

Compare the card length in its specifications with the maximum GPU length your case supports. Front radiators, fans and drive cages can take some of that space, so leave a margin. Also check the card thickness in slots and allow room to bend the power cable.

How big a power supply do I need?

Use the wattage recommended by the graphics card maker as a minimum, then add headroom for the processor, drives and fans. A good quality unit with spare capacity runs cooler and quieter than one working near its limit.

Is 16 GB or 32 GB of RAM better for gaming?

16 GB still runs most games. 32 GB gives room for newer titles, a browser and voice chat at the same time, and it is the common choice for new DDR5 builds. Buy a matched two-stick kit so the memory runs in dual channel.

What happens if a part arrives faulty?

Contact us first. Under the Australian Consumer Law you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have other failures fixed within a reasonable time. You do not have to deal with the manufacturer yourself.

Can you check my parts list before I order?

Yes. Send the list to us by live chat, WhatsApp or email and we will look over socket, memory, power and case fit before you buy.
